Wild Ones Workshops - Cultivate Commission, Into the Light

Wild Ones first began as a 10-week multidisciplinary art project, created through the Cultivate Commissions project as part of the county-wide Into the Light programme, managed by Northern Heartlands.

Over those weeks, people came together to explore seasonal nature-inspired crafts, including wreath-making, painting, embroidery and collage. The workshops became a safe space in the community for creativity and connection.

The project was well received and vastly exceeded the target number of participants. It was the response from these early sessions that planted the seed for what Wild Ones would later become.
